Leap of Faith

Balcony with ocean view

A reflection on faith, instinct and the courage it takes to step into the unknown and just say YES!

There is no day like today. There is no time like the present. Both clichés, yes, but both true. Taking the first step toward a dream requires action, and human nature has a way of making us hesitate when unfamiliar opportunity knocks. We wait for certainty that will never come, for a sign that the timing is right. Yet, the moment rarely announces itself. It simply arrives, and we decide.

Scripture tells us we are fearfully and wonderfully made. Each of us carries unique gifts and talents, given by design, not by accident. Everything we need to succeed already exists within us, waiting to be claimed rather than acquired. It comes down to a single choice, a single decision: saying YES. Sometimes that means leaning into what feels improbable or uncomfortable. Growth rarely lives inside the familiar.

Trust your instincts. Every woman carries an inner voice, one that has guided her through every stage of life, through every fork in the road. That voice has pulled us back from danger and pushed us toward a level of greatness we hadn't yet imagined for ourselves. Call it intuition, call it the Holy Spirit, we must always pause long enough to listen instead of rushing past it.

Reach for the opportunity in front of you. Say YES and step into the unknown. As you climb your designated path, look behind you. Reach back for the woman still finding her footing, and lift her up alongside you. Success is meant to be shared.
