As the Managing Director of Gioia Hospitality Group, Kassidy Angelo plays a central role in overseeing operations and shaping the group’s growing portfolio alongside her father, Founder & CEO Thomas Angelo.
Before transitioning into hospitality, Kassidy Angelo built a strong foundation in finance as an analyst at J.P. Morgan Private Bank, bringing a strategic and business-driven perspective to the company’s rapid growth. Since joining Gioia Hospitality, she has helped elevate standout concepts like Daniel’s, A Florida Steakhouse, which earned a MICHELIN Guide recommendation in its first year, and Daniel’s Miami, ranked No. 40 on the World’s Best: 101 Steak Restaurants list just a few months after opening.
Rooted in her Italian heritage and driven by a passion for hospitality, she prioritizes excellence, innovation, and guest experience as she helps lead the group into its next chapter with the highly anticipated debut of La Sponda. “Being in a family business keeps everything real, it’s not just about growth or numbers, it’s about what we’re building together and why,” she says. “That naturally keeps me grounded and aligned with what actually matters.”
Her mission is personal. “I want to create spaces that actually mean something to people,” she says. “Places where memories are made, where families come together, where someone celebrates a big moment or even just escapes their day for a little while.”
The best advice she can offer the next generation of leaders is to start before you feel ready. “You don’t need to have everything figured out to move forward,” she says. “Stay consistent, stay disciplined, and don’t let your age make you second-guess yourself!”; GioiaHP.com.
