Elements Of Air

A global atelier for inflatable contemporary art unveils a new multi-sensory experience featuring monumental installations and interactive works by leading contemporary artists.

Contemporary inflatable art gets a full-scale Miami moment when Balloon Museum brings Pop Air to Mana Wynwood. The globe-trotting exhibition transforms air itself into medium and spectacle, with monumental installations, digital environments, and interactive sculptures designed to be entered, touched and inhabited rather than admired from a distance. Twelve artists converge for the interactive showcases including Cyril Lancelin's Crazy Love geometric labyrinth that warps perception at every turn; a 26-foot butterfly titled Mariposa by Christopher Schardt pulsing with 39,000 LEDs; and Swing by Motorefisico, a kinetic installation of suspended spheres activated by visitor movement; Soft Hurricane by Quiet Ensemble features invisible tornadoes orchestrating an ensemble of balloons that dance in the air. Since its Rome debut in 2021, the exhibition has drawn more than 7 million visitors worldwide; BalloonMuseum.world.
